The dentist visit went well
I wore my FREEDOM Super Patch to help turn off any pain during the visit, and I believe it worked! Plus, during the whole time in the dental chair, I moved my conscious thoughts to my toes, fingers, and other parts of my body (by doing specific little practices that I teach). This helped me to focus my mind elsewhere in the body, a holistic approach, versus waiting to be poked or prodded the wrong way, or expect to feel pain in association with the work being done.
Because my daughter’s ortho appointment had been moved up to 12:30 pm instead of 1 pm (she’d asked for 1 pm and had it booked that way because of my preceding dental appointment), I suggested she leave me at the dentist and go ahead and go to her appointment. And she did. I was feeling that comfortable with the dentist and his assistant! Something I had not been very sure about the first time there, so again, I noticed my improved comfort level.
The dentist was very gentle, I didn’t even feel the needle when he numbed my jaw. And I know that’s a hard nerve to numb, after so many prior dental visits for work on back molars. Oh, and he even counted down as the numbing agent went in so I would know it was about over. I think he must work on children and nervous adults. He has quite the gentle manner and demeanor. We decided to fill a cavity at the gemlike (I’d told him I had felt there was something wrong with that tooth, which is why I had wanted it pulled). But he advised I try to keep it a bit longer since it will help secure the lower partial plate. I know they took all the x-rays (which I paid for), in order to have a way to convince me to keep my teeth–it bolsters their side of the argument, I guess one could say. And though this is going to cost me more money than just having the teeth removed and getting full dentures, I suppose I can live with it. At the moment, I am still about 50/50 on whether a partial is better than a denture. But okay.
Speaking of surprises
Since I got the check for $1,156. from the Florida dentist the other day, I am more inclined to spend it on my mouth now. Can you believe it took them so long to get that refund to me? It will be 3 years in December that they’ve owed me over a thousand dollars! It makes me wonder how many other dentists, doctors, hospitals, etc. hold money on patient accounts and never return it! If you have yet to hear, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta (owns Facebook, Instagram and more), just testified to Congress about how the Biden-Harris Administration pressured his company to censor Americans on his platforms! The censorship isn’t news to those of us who have had posts removed, but it’s shocking that he’s now ADMITTING this!!! And I bet court cases are sure to follow.

And then, I had to start researching this topic. WOW! Look at what all I found!

Do you WANT to know the Truth?
I get WHY one political side wants to hide the Truth from the masses when they’re wrong. What I don’t understand is how so many people CHOOSE to play along with these games. For years, ever since I researched the Savings and Loan (S&L) scandal and one of the Bush family (Neil) had made out like a bandit as head of the Silverado S&L out in Colorado. I did actual hard research on this during my college days–by going to a library and physically pouring over books, periodicals, and newspaper reels! So, I know of which I write! (Doesn’t it often seem like the two major political parties are working together???)
People’s lives are on the line! People died during COVID and on 9/11. And coverups and censorship in ALL forms make me furious! Thus, the more I read about Censorship, the deeper I went down the rabbit hole! I’ll share more tomorrow regarding what I found regarding COVID, but for now, let me share one of the most astounding truths I stumbled upon:

World news
We follow this informative guy on YouTube (yes, we mostly only watch YouTube and our DVD movies, though we do watch a few series on Paramount+ too, but we’ll be giving up on it soon–I’m tired of waiting for new seasons of 1883 and 1923. I’m also exasperated that they’ve not rerun Yellowstone, as I’m sure we’d love it too. UGH).
We get most of our foreign relations news from Alex, though I must say, I’ve been getting a lot of news from my fellow bloggers here on WordPress too! I love connecting with each one of you (via the comments and on Facebook–when we connect there), and you know who you are, from the UK, India, and other parts unknown.
I love how Alex travels around and is usually always outside during his daily videos. Of course, I love Greek men too, (haha, jk Richard! And he worries about me meeting a Chief Red Cloud someday… haha!), so there’s that. Also, I appreciate Alex because he always balances out his ‘news updates’ with a ‘clown world’ segment at the end of each video, and it always makes me laugh. Ha!

Balancing it out
We follow this incredible family (who recently moved from Canada to Russia). They’re farmers who are building their new home. They’re also raising 9 children! I’ve had plenty of reasons to close my heart to love over the course of my life, but I’ve always kept an open mind and heart. Inherently I’ve always known that God or the Universe would bring whoever was meant for me into my life, if I remained open. Oddly enough, that’s why the first chapter I ever wrote for a book was about being “open to receive.” Being open to receive is still a deeply-rooted, ingrained belief in my mind.

No one likes to be bugged when they aren’t feeling well. My daughter and I discussed this yesterday, about how we each can become a bit crabby (and snap at people, even each other) whenever we’re not feeling well. Another reason people put up or extend their boundaries/personal space. So, here’s my suggestion:

Richard and I love bison meat, but I’ve yet to find it (or ground lamb) in our local grocery stores here in New England. And that’s okay because we’re all for seeing the bison return in great numbers. Richard has high iron anyway, so it’s better that we consume more vegetables, poultry, and fish than red meat.

This song always makes me ponder a true love relationship that ended for some reason, but one that the singer wants to get back–one way or another. I love the poetry and depth of the lyrics.
Speaking of the wind, the weather didn’t cooperate with us yesterday so we’ve put off going to the lake until tomorrow. I often ponder the wind and the various ways it influences us, and the way it influences other things. Like the tree that fell in our backyard last week. And the waves on the water.

Most people allow the externalities of the world to pull or push them through life. I prefer to work on myself, to keep myself calm, and to detach as best I can from external forces. That is the Buddhist way. And I love that. Conversely, I may choose to respond bluntly with force to exert some sort of control over a situation. But usually, that does no good. People, even children, will always do what they want to do. Of course, continued actions exerted on another (as in child rearing) might condition them to behave better for a time, but they may later resent it–or worse, rebel.
