Do you care where your food items come from? Are you too busy to find out? Or are you like most of us and think if a grocery store sells it, it must be okay to eat–after all, why else do we have an FDA (in the US)? The FDA is a department within the federal government in America that’s supposed to oversee food producers. However, eggs, poultry, and meats are regulated by the USDA–Department of Agriculture.
If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio (and there’s a few minutes of BONUS info on the audio this time too!):
When my mom (and my cousin, Greg) worked in the butcher shop of a chain grocery store, all I knew about meat was what cut came from what part of the cow and how to properly store and cook it. I never thought about what ranch the beef came from or who owned the cattle company.
While watching an interview featuring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. the other day, he mentioned that Smithfield Foods was owned by a Chinese company. Does that surprise you?
Does it make any difference at all who (or what country) owns the meat we eat?
Since finding out that one of the food items I buy has genetically modified organisms in it (a particular yogurt that has the lowest salt and sugar content)–which is hard to find, I am now on a mission to learn about where our meat comes from.
Thankfully, we don’t eat beef much anymore (since finding out my husband has high iron in his blood) and I have been buying organic beef, lamb, and bison for many years–and buying organic has been one of the best ways to know we’re eating healthy (sans chemicals and GMOs).
Here’s some screen captures of what I learned:

Do you care who owns the companies that package the food you eat?
Maybe it doesn’t matter to you where your food comes from. I think our ‘too busy’ lifestyles have gotten us into this disconnected mess and we’re paying for it with ill health. I admit I’ve been too busy to follow up on every single food item, though I do check most. All I can do now is do better.

Be the best version of who you want to be–because if you’re reading my words your soul is probably beckoning you to align with it and live up to your highest ideals. Not perfect because who is perfect? Most stagnate or ‘get stuck’ while on their way to being whatever they think perfection is. Making progress is enough. Carrying your Karma lightly is enough. Be kind to yourself while living responsibly. Who you ARE affects us ALL. We Are All Connected.
Energy/Omniscience (Omnism) governs ALL. Omniscience knows ALL. Omniscience is always with you. You are never alone.

My online Zoom video course, Integrating the Spirals is more timely now than ever because I know people are suffering. (Let me know if you’re interested in working through the Integrating the Spirals course.)

As an empath I want to help ease suffering and raise our vibration to offer hope. I want to uplift others and expand our collective consciousness. I teach breath work and meditation so we appreciate the value of Detachment. We till our inner soil with our breath to calm the amygdala and institute peace. Meditation is an easy way to Connect us with spirit, higher selves, Omniscience God, and receive non-programmed personal guidance.

Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening, wherever you are in the world. I am just waking up on Saturday morning, thinking about the sort of pseudo-dream vision that I had. If you would rather listen instead of read, play the audio (and there’s a few minutes of BONUS info on the audio this time too!):
When waking up this morning, I was thinking about the concept of how someone’s life flashes before them, when they’re in the moment of death, or I guess are dying. And my thought was what if the ‘Walls Could Talk’ or the ‘Dishes Could Talk’? As for what if the walls could talk I was thinking back on where my first husband and I lived when my daughter was born. And if we had just stayed there, we would have stayed in a mobile home that was on my parent’s property.
My mom so loved being close to my daughter and for whatever reason, in my mind, I was thinking back then that I really wanted to move away, not too far, but just far enough where I could sort of get my own feet under me; make my own choices; live my own life, without my mom kind of attached to me at the hip.
So when an opportunity came up to buy a house, in the neighboring state, we did it. We moved about 17 miles away from my parents. We bought the house and we moved, taking our young daughter with us. We lived there when I got pregnant and had my son too.
So we went from a mobile home in West Virginia to a smallish house in Ohio. And that’s where I brought my son home from the hospital. So we had my daughter—who was 22 months old when I had my son. I had two children (under two) while living in that house, and we lived there for only about a year. I don’t think it was any more than two years. And then (I thought about) how much I experienced as a young adult being there—on my own (with my little family) at my first house.
And then the dream sort of peeled off from that experience, “if those walls could talk” because a lot of things happened in that house and in our experience there that I wish had not happened. My regret was, or my thought was, that we should have stayed in the mobile home, on my parents property. The dream was sort of how that wrapped up. And then one of the things I remembered was a very clear recollection of washing dishes. And I’m still using the same China today that I was using there when we lived in that house. Also when we lived in the mobile home–it was the China I bought from ou neighbor’s friend from Germany—when I was 15. I put it in my Hope chest. (Something every girl wanted to have back then.) And the China was the only thing I had in the Hope chest—though I might have had a few other items, but nothing comes to mind.

And so in my dream, I was washing my dishes this China while I was standing at the kitchen sink and in the house in Ohio, looking out onto the backyard. And it was a pretty little neighborhood. It was the cul de sac. It was a circle (circular street). Interesting.
So the next part of this is if one of the dishes could talk and how many places I’ve moved to in my life since that house. After that house, we went back to West Virginia and stayed in a small apartment for less than a year. And then we moved to Florida.

We moved to Florida when I was 22 and it took a whole “Act of Congress,” so to speak, but it was my dad, my first husband, and my two children and me (Mom stayed behind in WV for another year or so). And we packed everything ourselves.
My dad had what I guess you’d call a cargo van. Now it had a couple of captain’s chairs in it though, but I think it was pretty much empty other than that. We had some movable foam seating that we could move in and out and then a lot of things packed in there (of ours and of my dad’s things) because he bought a double-wide mobile home in Florida and we were all going to stay in that until dad and my first husband got dad’s dump truck business going. We had already been down to Florida before from West Virginia to get that started, which I had thought we would do months before and why we had to rent the apartment in WV for a few months.
We had rented an apartment in Orlando so that was my first real experience of Florida living.
We only stayed, my kids and me, in the apartment maybe for a few weeks to a month and that was okay. I wasn’t thrilled about Orlando traffic back then. But we were in the middle of town. And I didn’t notice too much of the expanse that the city of Orlando was taking. I just knew our little neighborhood that we rented the apartment and that was pretty cool and it was quiet. And when I say cool, it was quiet.
About when we made the move. We had dad’s cargo van I had a cargo van and then we towed behind us flat open trailers that were just like a flatbed trailer—no walls, roof, or anything. It was just an open-air trailer with wood planks on the bottom.
We had loaded up all our furniture, including the aforementioned China dishes, crystal, and things like that. And pretty much in boxes as I recall. So I mean, we were sort of hoping that it didn’t rain because things would have gotten wet. Although I’m sure we had plastic tarps but I don’t remember that. I just remember the move.
After I had been in Florida for many years, I ended up getting a job in a northern state. I’ll just leave it at that. It’s not something I like to talk about (I’ll just say it was a state north of Washington DC.) We lived there for not quite a year. But the company I got the job with had moved us. So that was a whole other experience of having somebody else come in, unknown to me, and pack our things. My China got packed up by other people I didn’t know. My mom came and helped too, though she mostly cleaned the apartment, she did help pack some of the China and crystal and things like that too. My children were teenagers then.
So we went north and at that moment in my life, I had been married and divorced. Later, the ex second husband at some point wanted us to move from that Northern State to Texas.
I had to rent my moving truck, and then he flew up from Texas and packed everything from that place into the moving truck–what a fiasco it was. I nearly changed my mind. I had no control over what all he did because he was a controlling person (years later I would learn he was a narcissist). And there were issues after we moved to Texas. I used that same China all through those years though. That (relationship) ended badly and I ended up leaving Texas—renting another U haul to move all my stuff AGAIN.
My daughter took a Greyhound bus, by this time she was an adult, and she came out to Texas from Florida to help me (along with a bunch of people I worked with–they helped me). They were great people! I had great friends in Texas. I’m still friends with many. They helped us pack the moving truck and then my daughter drove my vehicle and I drove the moving truck. We drove from Texas to Florida to move me back to Florida (my son had been with me in Texas but he moved himself and came back to Florida a few weeks before I did).
So I’ve lived in Florida. I was thinking this too I lived in Florida nearly 40 years ago. Except for the two years that we were gone because of going to the northern state and then also to Texas. But I was a Florida resident all that time anyway, and I only changed my driver’s license from Florida to Texas for the time I was in Texas; I never changed it though for the few months I had worked in the northern state because technically I was still a Florida resident, employed by Florida company. But that China has been all around the freakin’ country!
I also traveled for a while with a travel trailer for work. I took some of the China with me then—probably two or three items, not much, because it was just myself and my two dogs. I was in Missouri for over a year in the Travel Trailer working out there. That’s when I met Richard—we met online and dated for a year long distance relationship until that job laid me off and I could come back to Florida and begin anew. I ended up going to the space center and working there for six and a half years.
Back to the China though, when there was that financial downturn in 2008 and 2009. I got a job in Orlando (and commuted), as we lived in Titusville. I couldn’t keep that up. And I had an offer in Pennsylvania. So we sold our house and bought an RV and I took the China with us in the RV but it was so heavy and things as one might know that does RV travel and RV living things can move around in the cabinets. So I pack it packed it all up in bubble wrap, put it in a plastic tote, and put it in the basement storage of the fifth wheel. Every place we went, it was with us. I just wasn’t using it. I had some stoneware (mom had given me) that I was using instead. And of course, plastic plates and things like that because in an RV plastic is king or queen. However, you want to look at it. So the China has always been with me and we lived in the RV for 11 years and I hadn’t used it.
Now that we’re in this apartment I am using my China. When we rented the condo it was furnished and we didn’t have any need for our dishes since we had all the owner’s stuff that was there. The condo had a set of a microwavable melamine type of Corning or something. We used those for two years while we were living in there.
Eleven years we were in the RV, two years in the condo in Bradenton and I didn’t use my China again until now. Yes, I’m using China again. And you know what, it’s heavy. It’s really heavy and I think that’s why I had this dream. Because of the moves, and the houses, and the responsibilities of even making all the moves. And now holding this heavy China I’m realizing the weight of it. Both the weight of the memories and of the actual China.
I think that’s where I’ll leave this.
