Multifaceted
I love crystals and kaleidoscopes because they are multifaceted. I find the beauty in the broken pieces. That’s what I do.
I bought myself two new crystals for Christmas. The large multifaceted one is an Agate; it’s a light purple color similar to an amethyst. The darker crystal is an Ocean Jasper. It looks beautiful in the daylight and has a lot of small shiny parts. I love it for a crystal grid or gaze into during meditation. –Sheila Murrey

It’s November 12th, 2024; We have a fun, yet thoughtful story song for you today. On the one hand, it makes me want to examine the not-so-good past relationships, and on the other hand, I ponder how often we put people on a pedestal only to be let down by them.

I am a bit late posting my song-of-the-day blog because Life got in the way. I can’t tell you about it because it’s not my story to tell, but suffice to say a friend was in need. I often have a world of advice to give, but then I have learned when I do, it’s like I’ve put my finger in the pool of water. The ripples extend out in all directions and I never know what will or won’t be helpful. Or which ripple is going to come back and bit me in the arse! Ha!
I’ll keep this short and give you a couple of requested videos. The first is one that casts a compassionate light on President Trump. Yes, one of my friends is going through that currently, saying she’s never heard him have a kind or compassionate word to say about ANYONE. On the face of that comment I knew it couldn’t be true, because I know each human is multifaceted. And I know some people do kind things but don’t want to take any credit. Some, I suspect like President Trump, know that others would say he’s doing this or that kind gesture for the publicity. And of course, there’s a good deal of truth in such statements.
The second video is a story about Eric Clapton that I never knew. I have always loved his music, but WOW! I had no idea he was raised by his grandparents and grew up not knowing his sister was his mom! Sometimes, how people are raised, does make a huge difference in how they live out their lives. Thankfully, Eric took his pain and made it art, after picking up a guitar and letting us all see his soul. After you watch this, you’ll see why I shared it on a day that I am reflecting upon our song, My name ain’t Jesus. And how human we ALL are.

Revisiting past posts and all that has informed my Spirituality
Yesterday’s blog post had a good amount of chat in the comments about the Live band performance I’d done in 2016. Since I’d shared that performance video, I thought I’d share a link to the former blog article I’d written about why that performance was so important to me, and the Music Therapy Breakthrough program that birthed the Live band performance: https://sheilamurrey.net/2018/07/20/performing-on-stage/
And now that I have the YouTube video from that 2016 Breakthrough Live stage performance, I’ve got to go back and add it to the 2018 blog post, because I see for some reason I hadn’t included it before! (Maybe I didn’t have it at that time, I’m not sure.) Note: I was moving my hands around intentionally during the performance to offer an Energy blessing to the audience (there were about 200 people there, and the video was done by someone there that a friend sent to me later, which is why there’s a guy yelling, “I know this song,” while I was singing and the camera or phone was being dangled about at one point.) The folks who put on the Breakthrough therapy program (Mick and Tess Pulver) had someone professionally record the whole concert and sent us a DVD too, but the quality on it was not as they’d hoped either, so this amateur one is actually better of my solo.
Before I fell asleep last night (and after exchanging comments on yesterday’s post with a few of you), I mused about what all informed my Spirituality.

Everything I have been through to this point in my life has informed my Spirituality. Of course, meditating, feeling and sensing Energy (as in feeling GodBumps), and all of that has really raised my vibration and frequency to enable me to thrive, and live in peace and harmony. And I continue to grow and speak about it ALL!
As I look back on those older Spiritual posts of mine, I also see all of the different programs, trips, and online conferences I’ve learned from over the years, and that always brings a smile and sense of accomplishment. Heath Freedom and FREEDOM in general will forever be my mainstay mission. Helping those who don’t know, learn why it’s so important to thriving in today’s world. It’s August 9th, 2024; We have an original jazzy pop song that’s rockin’ with sax. The fantastic saxophone came from John Heinrich and solid-gold vocals from Bubba Hudson. We’ve got to thank Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN for the aWEsOMe pro demo work he did on this song.
This is a favorite song of mine. As the song says, “It’s a safe bet. It’s a sure sign. I think I’ve gone outta her mind.” Better than going out of my mind I guess! LOL! I especially love the video that Richard crafted for this song. Watch til the end! I love the star power throughout this video and the special nod to “your tax dollars at work” at the end.

We’ve had to balance and center ourselves the last couple of days
We’ve had some unsettling news the last few days. Whenever free speech is challenged, and certain shocking things happen to people we follow, it unnerves us. Two things happened. The first, about the raid on Scott Ritter’s home, felt very discouraging (and an abrupt attack on free speech); conversely, we got an email from Stand for Health Freedom that lifted our spirits about Health Freedom wins that have occurred so far this year! I had a most delightful Zoom call with a new holistic practitioner today! Yes, I felt the GodBumps! I felt the GodBumps several times as we talked about kinesiology and how our human body acts as a tuning fork.
