It’s November 12th, 2024; We have a fun, yet thoughtful story song for you today. On the one hand, it makes me want to examine the not-so-good past relationships, and on the other hand, I ponder how often we put people on a pedestal only to be let down by them.
This is the three-hundred-fifteenth new music post for 2024! Richard penned this eye-opening song a few years ago, but I believe its message is timeless. Paul Pace sings this powerful, yet fun, relationship song. My name ain’t Jesus was professionally produced by the Beaird Music Group of Nashville, TN.
I am a bit late posting my song-of-the-day blog because Life got in the way. I can’t tell you about it because it’s not my story to tell, but suffice to say a friend was in need. I often have a world of advice to give, but then I have learned when I do, it’s like I’ve put my finger in the pool of water. The ripples extend out in all directions and I never know what will or won’t be helpful. Or which ripple is going to come back and bit me in the arse! Ha!
I’ll keep this short and give you a couple of requested videos. The first is one that casts a compassionate light on President Trump. Yes, one of my friends is going through that currently, saying she’s never heard him have a kind or compassionate word to say about ANYONE. On the face of that comment I knew it couldn’t be true, because I know each human is multifaceted. And I know some people do kind things but don’t want to take any credit. Some, I suspect like President Trump, know that others would say he’s doing this or that kind gesture for the publicity. And of course, there’s a good deal of truth in such statements.
The second video is a story about Eric Clapton that I never knew. I have always loved his music, but WOW! I had no idea he was raised by his grandparents and grew up not knowing his sister was his mom! Sometimes, how people are raised, does make a huge difference in how they live out their lives. Thankfully, Eric took his pain and made it art, after picking up a guitar and letting us all see his soul. After you watch this, you’ll see why I shared it on a day that I am reflecting upon our song, My name ain’t Jesus. And how human we ALL are.

It’s November 11th, 2024; On this Veteran’s Day I want to honor the soldier. I offer this song as a means of reverence to soldiers who leave their families to fight for God and country. To fight for Freedom, Liberty, and Justice. God bless the soldier!

I think HONOR has been vastly devalued over the last thirty years or so. Granted, the people at the top of our government should earn our respect. And in my lifetime, we’ve had presidents who have LIED under oath and to the American people, and devalued the Presidential office. We’ve also had trusted advisors LIE to us. It’s hard to respect people or the office, when so many have blatantly lied, much less honor them. And to me, that’s why so many people went to Washington, D.C. on January 6th to peacefully assemble and protest. Some of those peaceful protestors were VETERANS! Many are still in jail too. I wasn’t there, but from the longer videos I’ve seen, not just the short clips the mainstream media put out, I think we’ve been LIED to again, on that subject.
I think most of us need to read the U.S. Constitution again with a critical eye, and really sit with it. Meditate on it. And consider the importance of the Freedom of Speech, and all of the rights provided to us in our U.S. Constitution. Only then will we begin to glimpse the importance of our right to speak our minds, write our blog posts, and peacefully protest and assemble.
I am sharing (reblogging) posts from some of my favorite bloggers who are Veteran’s and who speak their minds, and share their stories. I hope you can find some time over the next few days to read those. With humility, Thank you.

Every year when Veteran’s Day rolls around, I am always thankful to the soldiers who fought to defend our American life, including our rights and freedoms. I can’t think of anything more important than our Freedom of Speech, and all of the rights provided to us in our U.S. Constitution. I think some people need to go back and read it.

Oh, today’s writing prompt rubs the proverbial scab off the wound for me today!
I spent $12k on an annual business coaching program (in 2019) which I may have gotten a few hundred dollars of benefit from. I made this outlandish purchase because I had never met someone of the coach’s caliber (he had ‘connections’ in Hollywood because his dad was a screen writer and had written some of my favorite movies), and because my job had told me I would be laid off in a couple of months. So, I guess I must admit fear and greed drove my decision. Boy, have I regretted it ever since!
I didn’t end up getting laid off, so I had no time to focus soley on the business program as I had planned, but since I signed a contract, I felt obligated to continue (and make the monthly payments I had agreed to make).
I enjoyed the Zoom calls we had and I did meet some exceptional people (a few I am still in contact with), but the coach couldn’t control the group and didn’t add much. I think my husband and I had two or three one-on-one calls with him. I had thought we would get a monthly call with him. He gave everyone a roadmap on how to plan out a business launch. And he gave us call scripts for how to sell others on hiring us as a coach. But I never wanted to be a coach, I wanted to get our original songs in a movie or TV show.
I would have been better off to have hired a song publicist.
Then again, my husband hired a song manager who ended up scamming him out of thousands of dollars and then moved to Mexico.
I suppose I am too gullible to run our own business. Nor am I a salesperson. Lessons learned!

This is the three-hundred-twelfth new music post for 2024! I always believe unless you have ‘skin in the game’ you have no right to complain. But let’s see what you think:
I think you’ve got to put some skin in the game if you want to help people. I’m willing.
I announced my new blog categories in yesterday’s post. Let me give you a high-level brief on what I have planned to add to this blog in 2025. And I must tell you that I will be doing some clean-up of my blog next year, because I’m at 50% capacity here in WordPress and I’m not going to put anymore money into this site to increase that. So, I’ll be removing some images and posts, and streamlining it. I don’t know how many more years I can keep this going, at least, not unless I begin selling more books, or adding the ‘buy me a coffee’ type thing so I can at least make $100 a year from this venture. Just keep this in mind.
Moral ambiguities
From movies, to TV shows, to the books I read, I love moral ambiguities. I think it’s because of all the BS I’ve been through in my life. And how much love and grace I’ve received from those who didn’t judge me at the time. I know each of us can change where we are because I’ve changed. Perhaps by the grace of Omniscience God, or simply because how I was living at any given point in time wasn’t working. Considering life through the lens of moral ambiguities open me to greater perspectives.
Self reflection
As Don Henley suggested in his album, Inside Job, “It’s all an inside job.” We must self reflect if we ever hope to offer ourselves and each other grace. I know I’m here to teach and help others live with more ease and grace. This doesn’t just apply to those who think they’re all full of ‘love and light,’ this applies to ALL. We’re supposed to be unifying, right? We’re the change we’ve been waiting for and I still believe we can COEXIST! So, let’s do this! Love yourself and each other. Mirrorball perspective
I’m happy to offer a philosophy and practical method of using a mirrorball to observe and obtain new perspectives and open ourselves to new ways to understand and communicate with others who see life differently from ourselves. This helps us have more empathy and offer grace to ALL. I feel I understand people better because I dance on the edge of perception under the mirrorball.
Kaleidoscope teaching
The kaleidoscope method I teach is similar to the mirrorball, but we get into fractals and divine design of things in nature. The broken parts of us are useful within the design of our bodies and lives. Actually, when we expand our perception we come to know the broken pieces create the design! Nobody’s ‘perfect.’ There’s no perfection in art.
Multifaceted
I love exploring and talking about the multifaceted parts of life. Again, the kaleidoscope is probably the best example of everything I could say on the subject of living a multifaceted life. And loving it!
Multiverse
This new category will be one where I’ll explore and uncover The Stranger Things kind of stuff and I’ll share some blogs, YouTube videos and more of the stuff I read and watch that continues to sharpen my brain and expand my consciousness. I’m sure we’ll get into Sci Fi, conversations about aliens, and maybe even X-Files and Men in Black type stuff. I’ll debunk whatever I can, or point to YouTube channels like, The Why Files. But this could be an entire blog. And I want to get into it.
