It’s April 10th, 2024; Here’s an original country love song. It’s one of my favorite songs of ours. We rehearsed this a lot many years ago, so I carry the lyrics deep within my heart and mind. It ain’t much but an I love and I can’t go through life without kissing your sweet face. Ah!

Here’s the one-hundred-first new music post for 2024, as I consistently offer one of our original songs for your enjoyment. This song is a melodic love song that grooves along with its slow-tempo beat.
Love runs deep
I’ve written a bit before a bit of love and relationship advice. And it’s funny. The more I try and simplify things invariably someone will ask for more details. My mind loves to distill complex ideas down though.
I’ve told you that ‘Love is eternal.’ Love is a phenomenon that science has yet to figure out. And the power of love bonds people together. Could it be that we carry love forward in our souls as we traverse the Universe, living life after life? It certainly feels to me that love binds and frees at the same time. Being in love is such a high. Conversely, when a loved one leaves this physical plane, we can feel so low when we miss them being in our physical reality–whether they move on or are taken by death.

My beloved Richard (husband and artist extraordinaire), put his face on each of these priests. He can see himself in so many others. I love this since I teach and share about ‘mirroring’ to increase our perspective to judge others less and live with more grace and ease (to feel better more often).
I feel better when I give
I take note of how I feel when I give someone something or do some small act of kindness. I don’t know if I’ve been actively observing my feelings my whole life, maybe. But for sure since I started meditating about ten years ago, I consciously aim to feel better. And I always feel better when I give.
Let’s soar in ’24
As you prepare for the solar eclipse tomorrow take some time to pray, meditate, fast, or simply don’t do something you’d planned. Help a stranger. Perform a random act of kindness. And then make a conscious effort to scan your body to see how you FEEL. We can all soar in ’24 and improve our attitude to attain a higher altitude. Be brave! Fly!
