I actually read through a LOT of current event stories, via the news sources (like 1440 news) and influencers we follow (most retired military, government contractors, and Health Freedom advocates). I spend the first two hours or so every morning going through these to curate the best for you. And to save for myself so when/if things do happen, we’re aware and not taken off guard. The land clearing is done now (across the street from us). And yes, I am feeling better. Richard thinks the hill might slide one day, but hopefully, it won’t impact us! It’s November 18th, 2024; We’ve got another lost love song for anyone who’s been through a breakup. This is one of Richard’s favorite songs, but for me, it hits differently–it reminds me of my second ex-husband and his house. UGH! Brings back too many bad memories for me. This is the three-hundred-twenty-first new music post for 2024! Yes, my husband, Richard, is very good at getting to the heart of a story and creating relatable original songs. And while I am not triggered by the ones that align with my past, it doesn’t mean I’ve totally conquered past memories. But as I always say, I can choose where to place my focus and find the next better feeling thought! Ha!
As I wrote yesterday, I’m still a work in progress. I think most of us are, so we can forgive, offer grace, and raise our consciousness higher, each and every day. We don’t have to stand in front of the moving train, but we can walk the tracks and appreciate the path. And appreciate the fact that we can get off the track when the train passes by! Ha!
My comment on a meme (“The cause of Addiction is unresolved Trauma”) a friend shared on Facebook yesterday. “I was addicted to drama (thanks to the environment I was raised in). Ha! It led me to getting married at 17 (thought I’d escape the chaos), then again to someone else in my late twenties. UGH! Finally, the words, “know thyself” kicked in and I was able to unravel it, peel the old layers away like an onion skin.” –Sheila Murrey
I think the land clearing that has been going on across the street from where we live has gotten me all shook up. The constant hum of the backhoe (to dig out the rocks that people placed there over a hundred years ago or more), and uproot the tree stumps (they cut down the trees about two months ago, which was also unnerving), and remove part of the hill, has brought back the memory of my mom cutting down many of her beloved trees (back in West Virginia when we built a house). Mom would cry after cutting down a tree and tell me she’d heard a voice saying, “This is all in vain.” And it was. It took six years to build the house that I would only live in less than two years, and she and dad would lose during bankruptcy about five years later. To this day, land clearing disturbs me. I am an environmentalist at heart. It’s something I continue to work through using the process I created, Integrating the Spirals. It’s why I can sit in the middle, truly. It’s why I teach what do and balance myself out daily. It’s why I believe in grounding so much. And grace. Giving myself and others grace, though choosing to cut ties when and as needed. Until shit comes back around again.

He’s the bright light in this whole Election if you ask me. As well as President Trump reaching across the aisle and former Democrats joining his cabinet. We need more of that, think or say whatever you will about President Trump. I’m a silver linings kind of gal. Ha!
Setting up my spa room
I finally got the sauna I’ve been researching and eyeing for the last four years, thanks to Robyn Openshaw (The Green Smoothie Girl) talking about it so much, and me keeping our health a priority. And I’m sooo excited! Within the first few nights of sitting in the Relax sauna, I’ve already begun feeling positive results, and the pain I’ve experienced since moving (sciatica) is less and less. First, the sciatica was greatly reduced from wearing the Freedom Super Patch patches, but I didn’t want to have to rely on a patch forever. And I’ve not visited a chiropractor or acupuncture doctor here yet (it’s on my list to do though).

Yes, I reuse so many things so the plants are sitting on plastic tubs we used for moving/storage–some are empty and some store paperwork. I also have crystals in the living room/bedroom and in my spa room. They love to sit on the huge windowsills so they can capture moonlight at night. Even before the Election, this happened… and vindicates those of us who “questioned the Science”
My daughter and eldest granddaughter went to the art studio yesterday and I painted a canvas a ceramic (for Christmas). We really had a great multifaceted day! We had some ‘teachable moments (yes, even for me), and I had time to tell my 13 yo granddaughter about the epiphany I had on Friday (I did tell you about that, didn’t I?), Law of Attraction, and what the term ‘moral ambiguities’ means. Ha!

It’s November 16th, 2024; We’ve got a love lost country song for you today. Yes, sometimes people lose in love and another one wins! I have told Richard many times, I’m glad he lost at love twice before me (and me, twice before him), else we wouldn’t have found our best loves in each other! I also use that phrase often, “Don’t let the door hit ya…” if you know what I mean. We both had to find ourselves and love ourselves before this relationship would work.

First, I’ve been researching food the past few days, thanks to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. highlighting the chemicals in our food (here in the USA), that are NOT in the same food sold in to other countries (because those other countries ban the chemicals). Also, while I love to eat for the taste, I’m now on a mission, or journey for those of you who like to use softer words, to release excess weight by detoxing–no taste involved. Second, I have a churning stomach after reading an article I just reblogged about The Onion buying InfoWars for pennies on the dollar (and turning it into a parody). So, I guess this is always why I give you a taste of politics in my blog articles. And lastly, we’ve got Thanksgiving coming up soon (in the USA), and most of us will be overeating. I don’t think over indulgence in any one thing is good for us. But who am I?
