It’s December 18th, 2024; We have another original tribute song for you today. Hey Mr. Eastwood, takes us on a glorious ride through many of Clint Eastwood’s movie titles–many are our favorite films. This vibrant and bouncy original song was sung by the authentic Bubba Hudson and masterfully recorded at Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN.
This is the three-hundred-fifty-third new music post for 2024! Richard wanted to memorialize Clint Eastwood because we are such fans of his motion pictures. Every film project Clint has been involved with has told stories of the human condition, and most of strength, ingenuity, and triumph! His entire film catalog is one to be celebrated! We therefore, offer this song as a way to honor and applaud ALL of his amazing body of work.
We’d love for Clint Eastwood to hear this song, if anyone has any ties to him. And thank you so much for sharing this blog post or simply, the link to the YouTube video. That’s the only way independent original songs go viral!
Sometimes it takes decades to become an ‘overnight success’

We’re only human and sometimes get down about the long and winding road we’ve been on as songwriters. Throughout the course of my 35+ career in Information Technology, I was told many times that I had to “pay my dues.” I did. And I got paid fairly well for several years because I took risks and changed jobs, while several of the friends I began working at a private University continued to play it safe and stay at the University. So, my ‘success’ came by taking risks. And I feel good about that. No risk, no reward I guess.
I just feel at this point in our lives, it would be lovely if we would see some tangible evidence of success for all the work my darling husband has put into his songwriting. The only way I have ever been able to pull myself out of any self pity hole is to pursue other ventures. Call it changing focus or distraction. It doesn’t matter. But it works for me, every single time. And that’s where consciousness expanding topics come back into play for me. Front and center.
Expanding our consciousness by widening our aperture
Richard and I spent 6 hours watching this video last night and highly recommend it for anyone interested in expanding their consciousness. Many of the statements made by Joe McMoneagle aligned with things that have happened to me. Thus, I gleaned additional information and self-validation–including ‘hearing voices’ and the physical sensation I call, ‘GodBumps’. In other words, experiential occurrences of this nature are often difficult to prove, as there’s no tangible evidence of certain phenomena, though we know consciousness is yet to be ‘nailed down’ to any one area (in or out) of the brain, scientifically. He gets into UFO Disclosure. He speaks about multiple dimensions (that relate to what I’ve studied on the multiverse). And he talks about the metaphysical training at the Monroe Institute. Whether you believe in ‘psychics’ or not, this is an amazing interview if you’re interested in “conspiracies.”

Not to give anything away, but I felt so sorry for Joe by about hour 4 of this discussion/interview because he looked so uncomfortable! By the end, he looked sooo incredibly tired! If there was anything negative about the interview, that would be it for me. Had I been meeting with Joe, I wouldn’t have kept him sitting in that chair for that long. But that’s just me. The empath.

December 17th – L.E.O. ain’t high enough
It’s December 17th, 2024; One of our original songs, L.E.O. ain’t high enough, almost made it into a commercial on the Discovery channel AND as a wake up call for the astronauts on the Space Shuttle! Yes, this song even had a music video created by NASA! This original song was sung by the incredible Bubba Hudson and recorded at Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN.
This is the three-hundred-fifty-second new music post for 2024! Richard wrote this song while we were working at Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Florida. He submitted the song to the Public Relations (PR) Department and the Press Director loved it! Even after the PR Department spent time and money creating the music video, and we got to go in there, meet the team of creators, and shake their hands–some higher up nixed the project. We had all thought the NASA music video would be played on big screens at the Kennedy Space Center’s Visitors Center and even as a wake up call on board the Space Shuttle for the astronauts.
A few weeks later, the Discovery channel called us and sent us a release to sign so they could use part of the song in one of their commercials, but that too, for whatever reason, got axed.

Thankfully, the PR Director shared the video with us, so we could put it on YouTube.
Richard and I are fairly positive people. But we’re getting tired of people saying they’ll do something and then totally forgetting about us like we’re a block of old cheese that nobody likes anymore.
I don’t have words anymore for how disillusioned we’ve become about getting our music noticed/heard. Thank you ALL for checking out my daily music blog posts and playing these videos. It really has helped brighten our mood and encourage Richard. We’ve learned we just need to be happy where we are and for who wants to be part of our journey.

December 16th – Who’s dentures
It’s December 16th, 2024; We’ve got a fun new original song for all of us older folks. Whose dentures is sung by our wonderful Bubba Hudson. This original song was recorded at Steven Cooper’s music studio in Nashville, TN.
This is the three-hundred-fifty-first new music post for 2024! Richard wrote this song way before we ever thought we’d need dentures–though secretly, I’d wanted dentures since I was a teenager. It always just seemed like the easier option to me! Ha! He definitely tried to make it light-hearted and fun!
I know this song sooo well, because I also tried my hand at making animated music videos years ago. And this was my first and last attempt, not because I didn’t enjoy the process or because it was difficult, but because I once uploaded to YouTube the timing of how the characters mouths (which I had painstakingly worked on during the video creation process) that HAD moved in perfect synchronization at the time of upload, was completely thrown out of whack by YouTube once the upload completed! Grrrr!
Dentistry today
I am so tired of going to the dentist, dealing with tooth/gum pain, etc. I cannot believe people in their 60s would ever wear braces! I have spent over $40k on my teeth in my adult life, and dealt with unscrupulous dental practices as well. It’s such a scam. Not to mention that by today’s day-in-age, dental technology should be far more advanced than it is.
Every time I brush and water floss my teeth, I send my teeth and gums love and direct the dental stem cells to do their job to replenish my teeth. For years I visualized growing a new tooth to replace one that the dentist broke, horizontally, under the gum line, while working on an adjacent tooth. I battled the ensuing infection with THAT broken tooth for a year with essential oils and such, before going to an oral surgeon and having it removed because there were no other options. (I’ve now just got a Nesbit bridge to replace that single tooth to the sum of $1200!)

This is the three-hundred-fiftieth new music post for 2024! This is part love song and part ‘missing you’ song. When Richard wrote this, I can imagine he was longing for someone true in his life. I’m glad he eventually found me!
I often read articles I disagree with
I challenge myself as part of my daily process (and practice what I preach and teach in Integrating the Spirals), by reading blog articles, or other media on topics or perspectives that differ from mine. Case in point, at first glance I disagreed with the following article, but after reading it, I sat with this blogger’s perspective and appreciated their insights and information. There are myriad points within the article that make sense to me (I’ve never agreed with having Christmas trees on church altars, and I do believe a LOT of people fall for the over-commercialism of the holiday). However, the overall philosophy presented here differs from mine–because I view our Creator (or the Dao) as Limitless Omniscience. But folks, reading material like THIS, is how we broaden our perspectives and expand our consciousness! We must coexist!
I challenge my beliefs every single day. Not because I aim to be perfect but because I always (in ALL ways) want to make virtuous progress while enjoying the journey and Connecting. I’m human. I’m real. I strive for transparency and forthrightness, but I am fallible. Nobody’s ‘Perfect.’ I’m probably not ‘rightly dividing the word of God’ when I read the scriptures, but then again, which version of the Bible are you (and this blog article’s author) reading? (Hint: I don’t just read one version.)
Boundaries? Okay. But be flexible too!
Last night, my daughter came over and though I had our door locked (which is always my cue that we’re in bed), my slippers were at the foot of our stairs (my cue to my husband that I’m upstairs in the sauna and not to be disturbed), I had not fully communicated these two cues to my daughter–and it was sort of an emergency. She needed me, her mom, to listen and give her some emotional support. So, she knocked on the door. Richard was in the kitchen but heard her and went to the door to let her in. She asked where I was and he told her, “Upstairs.” So, up she came but stopped at the closed door upstairs and asked me, “Are you in or out of the sauna?” I was just getting in and had just set my phone up to play some new songs I had wanted to listen to by blogger/songwriter cookie nieves.
I got into the sauna and then welcomed my daughter to come into the room. She visited for my entire sauna session. When I was done, I invited her to meet me downstairs (so I could get dressed). She stayed another couple of hours and we ended with big hugs. My ‘Mom job’ was done. Though I didn’t get to relax to cookie’s songs as I’d planned. I know there’s no rush, but I had literally just sent a comment to cookie that I was going to listen. Best laid plans, right?
My daughter and I had a wonderful visit though, and I did a little EFT for her too (she’s still not interested in learning/using it for herself though). And that’s okay. We each learn at differing rates of speed and along the path of the spiral, it’s ALL good.

I reblogged a great post about Free Speech last night from The Realist Juggernaut, but moments after I had shared that, I read their post about the unidentified drones, which I’ll embed a link to next. At least the drones story can distract me from impending WWIII! So, there’s something to be thankful for. And we’re loving living in New Hampshire (with electricity), versus living off the grid in Hollister, Florida! More reasons to be grateful. Woo-hoo! This is the three-hundred-forty-fifth new music post for 2024! Can you believe we’re almost done with 2024?!? WOW! We’ve accomplished a few things, like the big move from Florida to New Hampshire, learning to kayak, and enjoying several art classes (at the art studio where my daughter works, about a mile from us). But, I haven’t completed writing my 5th book, yet. Nor have I read as many books as I thought I would in my first year of retirement. Hmmm… guess my To Do List will simply continue on to 2025. How about you?
What have you accomplished in 2024?
I had a very engaging conversation yesterday with a life coach, pilates and yoga teacher who reached out to me on LinkedIn. WOW! Isn’t it amazing how much we have in common with people? During our first phone call we discussed our move to NH from Florida, her four sons (all grown with the last one in college), us living next to my daughter and three granddaughters (and how I spend time with them), how I became an Information Technology professional (from business analyst to Technical Writer, now retired), how I’d primarily worked in Higher Education and traveled the country. That my first supervisor taught me the meaning of the word courage by hiring me–a young woman with two small children who had only had one class in digital electronics at a community college. We talked about how I am setting up my spa room in a big upstairs bedroom and how long it’s been since we had furniture (since we lived in our RV for so long–11 years). I asked her about her history of teaching pilates, yoga, and coaching and she explained how she’s ramping up her coaching business. (And no, she was not trying to ‘sell me’ on her coaching services–refreshing!). She told me her mom lives in Oregon and though her dad has recently passed away (crossed over), her mom has good friends and support system there. We talked a bit about life in Oregon too. Oh, and we both love Sedona, AZ!
We talked about the books we’ve written (both as a co-author and sole author), and the ones we have in progress. We talked a LOT about Yellowstone and the other great works of Taylor Sheridan with me explaining how I prefer to stay neutral (politically) and not have TV shows or movies veer too far left or right. I gave her the down low about GodBumps. I even got to tell her about my less-than day-old sister, Christina, how she first appeared to me (as told in my post: https://sheilamurrey.net/2017/04/26/that-little-blue-dot/) and how Christina was my focus for writing Blue Eyes: Ethereal Messages of Connection.
Now that I reflect on our conversation, I think it wrapped up who I am and where I am at this stage in my life. Interesting! We plan on talking more. We’ll see. The sweet surprise was that her husband is an independent songwriter and music producer in Nashville. Tada! It feels like the Universe has something in mind.
I fell asleep last night with the mantra, For No Thought of Gain, in my mind–and I know what that means. I can ask. But ultimately Omniscience God and the Universe decides. After that, it’s up to us to do any work involved. Spirit leads. We’re God’s hands. (Maybe that’s why I love Yellowstone so much. It reminds me of riding horses with my dad, and that rider/horse metaphysical relationship.)
What do you want to accomplish in 2025?
I’d love to hear what you’re working on and if you’d be up to having a phone call or Zoom chat with me sometime. I know several of you are in different time zones so it might take some doing to figure out the WHEN, but I think if we set it as a priority, we’ll make it happen. Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Thursday’s are the best days for me. I’m on NY – eastern time zone.
Connections are important to me.
I can set the Zoom call if you want to do that. I just got a new iPhone after my old iPhone 7 Plus finally aged out (the charging cable broke the other day and three needed utility apps wouldn’t load because it wouldn’t accept an update of iOS 16. The new one is an iPhone 16 Plus with iOS 18. I’m still trying to figure it out. Thank goodness for YouTube! Haha!

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
