Someone shared something in the Dr. Bruce Lipton WhatsApp chat tonight that took me inward. I’ll share that in a minute. Here’s what came up for me:
What was the initial impetus?
Someone had shared this meme about “One who vibrates to the energy of pure love will counterbalance the negativity of 750,000 who do not.” Another individual (in the group) asked how this researcher came up with such a number? And thought that those of us who buy into this supposed research are buying into yet another illusory paradigm that’s not real (continuing to perpetuate the problem that doing our inner work is supposed to solve)!

Before I reblog this deeply moving article, let me tell you why by sharing the comment I left at the end of it:
Thank you for this sobering story of reflection and excellent scripture verses.
For decades I have abstained from attending church because they wouldn’t open their doors to the poor and needy.
1) I used to serve food once a week at a local church my family and I attended until the pastor ended the program because someone was in fear about the ladies safety who took turns driving the church van to transport the homeless to the church and back.
2) Churches typically blame their insurance companies for not allowing them to keep their doors open 24×7 to those in need of ministry or place to sleep.
3) A coworker who desperately needed counseling one day, left our office to walk across the street to a church. She got in a side door. When the priest approached her he asked how she got in! She told him and after escorting her out he proceeded to lock the door behind her!
4) When a hurricane struck Florida years ago, my parents and my children (who had been visiting them for a weekend), went to our church (ironically, that my mom cleaned each week of her own good heart, not for money), and they slept on the floor because mom had the key. They needed to stay there because my parents lived in a mobile home. The church found out the next day and kicked my parents and my children out. We were stunned and never went back.
SAD to say! Our churches are NOT serving God anymore. Look at how they closed during Covid!!!
Watching the latest episode of The Chosen actually brought all this back up for me. Jesus would drive many people and pastors out of the churches if He was walking the earth today.

‘Thrive in 25’ – Current stuff (Goings and Doings)
I know I haven’t written much lately. I’ve been reblogging more than writing personal thoughts. We’ve had a lot going on here and anticipate a busy summer. Thus, forgive me, but I imagine most of you are busy too!
We had an excellent time with our three granddaughters; our 13 year old was lead in the school play (Matilda Jr. if you know it), and graduated (called a promotion ceremony here). We attended both at her middle school. She finished 8th grade with academic honors. And we were thrilled for her!
Spiral thought: As the children walked to receive their certificates of accomplishment, I noticed that many of the girls looked older than 13 years of age. I don’t know if it’s from the additives in our foods or what, but I had a moment when I thought, “Guys should ‘card’ every girl before asking them out.” Yes, apparently I have been watching too many YouTube true stories of young people falling into bad situations. Ugh!
At any rate, from simply having one errant thought or observation like this, I then proceeded to work my spiral process (silently to myself in that moment), as to why such a thought occurred to me! I quickly shifted back to Presence to truly enjoy the whole event—including family photos at its conclusion. No tears. No worries!
I say this to show you that I am continually clearing thoughts for myself that crop up, that are either from some negative past experience, or from something negative I’ve watched. I sure don’t want to allow negative thoughts to grow or bring about any further negative experience in my life or anyone in our circle! And yes, Expanding Consciousness does allow for ALL manifestations. Think weeds in the garden! We must have an awareness our thoughts so we CAN prune the unwanted ones! That’s the whole purpose of mindfulness and meditation!
Now, my Theosophy book club continues, as well as personal book zooms with authors (let me know if you’re interested in booking those with me). I also continue to attend the lovely and lively monthly Dr. Bruce Lipton zoom calls—I went Live with Bruce on the most recent call, and I will post a snip of that on my YouTube channel soon. I also have a new song to drop on YouTube tomorrow or Wednesday.
I’m preparing for vacation (to attend my 45th high school reunion a few states away mid July). And I have been and will continue spending time with our 8 year old twin granddaughters (as their out of school for the summer). Our eldest is visiting Florida right now for a couple of weeks, otherwise she’d be watching the twins and I would just pop in whenever.

I have recently decided my reviews for local restaurants and such are probably better off residing on Yelp, though my daughter likes Google better for these types of reviews.

We just finished watching these Peter Santenello videos of the devastation and cleanup going on still, nearly 8 months after hurricane Helene ravaged parts of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The scale and scope of the destruction is staggering.
There are multiple perspectives within this multifaceted story:
Hurricanes
We lived through many hurricanes and tropical storms in the nearly 40 years Richard and I lived in Florida. We never experienced this kind of devastation. We give Peter props for interviewing as many as he could during his time in North Carolina.
People who have never experienced a flood should watch his videos and consider whether they could survive one.

As I have written previously, I am of English, Irish, Dutch, German, and Native American lineage (Cherokee tribe). And my grandmother was persecuted for being Native American. Recently, friend and fellow blogger, Michael of 80sMetalMan and Peaceful Rampage reminded me of an old book, Trail of Tears: The Rise and Fall of the Cherokee Nation by John Ehle (1988). I’d begun reading this book years ago and had put it down for a time when I had a bit more control over my emotions. And now seems like a good time to finish reading it.

Here’s a few pages of interest from my initial read of the book. I’ve got a few more chapters to read of it before I can say that I’ve completed it. I pick it up and put it down because some of the stories are a bit hard for me to process emotionally. Aww! Y’all know I’m sensitive.

If you never question your government, doctors (who receive kickbacks from Big Pharma), the following stories might surprise you (or even conjure the term ‘Conspiracy Theory.’ But alas, here we are, facing some hard truths.
Don’t look up
My husband and I have both been questioning what the hell has been going on in our skies for more than twenty years. My darling husband even walked away when the subject of chemtrails came up and a double-degreed flight engineer wanted to argue with us during a happy-hour discussion that veered into the subject. The engineer was adamant that the streaks above our heads were simple condensation from high-flying jets.
I reached for neutrality on the topic, trying to leave it with a “maybe/what if” statement, but the engineer wanted to battle about it. That’s when Richard admonished me to leave and walked away. I stayed for another minute or so, but feeling the strong resistance from the engineer, I gave up and walked away too.
Now, the facts seem to be supporting Richard and my views on the subject:
And a physician suing the CDC because she doesn’t want to give Covid vaccines to children
And one more health news story from The Defender:
But what about polio?
Now, you can bury your head in the sand if you want to, I work with people often who are burned out from all the rhetoric and arguing over the whole COVID debacle, whether to vaccinate or mask or not, etc. and I get it. I always say it’s better for us, for our mind-body harmony (and whole body homeostasis), when we can reach for the next better feeling thought… but I think we need to continue to pay attention to what’s going on and the evidence that presents itself on the subject of HEALTH.
You may not want to advise people about what to do or not to do, and I don’t either, I educate and inform because I’m not a doctor. But I follow MANY doctors! And here’s one of the best, Dr. Suzanne Humphries:
