Integrating the Spirals: The Rabbit hole of Longing
In continuing my chats with fellow blogger, artist, and friend, Linda of Creative Artworks Blog, I discovered another rabbit hole of inquiry and self reflection this morning. And it is the rabbit hole of ‘Longing.’
When I leave someone or something, (or they leave me), I continue to feel a sense of sadness. Ugh! Yet, I know that is somehow tied to selfishness on my part.
Hmmm.
I think of the song, Everytime you go away.
Selfishness is tied to ownership.
Meditating on this, I find that when I say, ‘my’ anything, I am attaching some level of ownership to the person, place, or thing. Some degree of ownership comes from loving. Interesting!
Perhaps this is one reason the Buddhists teach us to detach. The less attached we are, the less suffering.
when we can focus on the new homes or adventures our far away loved ones can have without us, instead of thinking about how much we miss them, it frees our thinking minds!
And perhaps in this “We Are All Connected” metaphysical world, it frees them too! The frequencies are all intermingling.

‘Thrive in 25’ – Next! Learning all the time
Today’s Friday here in the United States of America. So, if I say, “I am excited about what we’re doing next Saturday,” do you think I am referring to tomorrow or a week from tomorrow?
My daughter posed this question to me earlier this week (Tuesday), about my use of the word, next, when I had said, “I’m excited about our eye exam next Saturday.” I was shocked when she didn’t know I was referring to the upcoming Saturday, which is tomorrow!
After all my years as a writer, I didn’t know there could be different ways to interpret the word, next! Ha! Go figure. Learning all the time!
When I looked up the definition of next, here’s what I found:

I was schooled in West Virginia and to me, I was using next to mean the, “nearest or immediately succeeding” Saturday.
But my daughter was schooled in Florida, and has lived in New England for more than the last ten years. And she interpreted my use of, next, (as further analysis uncovered) to mean the Saturday of the following week:
So, as always (and perhaps with all things), there can be multifaceted meanings and different ways of expressing thoughts and ideas. Ha!
Spiral thought: When I argue (even a little bit) with someone over anything, it highlights that I still have an ego.
Everything happens for a reason in the multiverse with myriad sides to every story
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason in the multiverse and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Review: Kefir and Koso: healthy fermented beverages
I haven’t written about my diet in quite a while, so I thought I’d post something to denote when I began drinking Koso and kefir.
I began having some digestive issues, and quickly discovered the heartburn I had been experiencing was linked to the red wine I’d been drinking (even a small glass) every night.
Thus, in an effort to drink something unusual, non-alcoholic, and healthy for my gut, I found an organic, full fat kefir drink made by a family run business. I love this stuff! I started drinking it a few months ago and no more heartburn! Mind you, I had never experienced heartburn (or acid reflux) my whole life! My guess is because I am AB blood type and produce a very low amount of stomach acid. At any rate, cutting out the wine definitely resolved the issue. The kefir just helps rebuild healthy gut flora.
Then came, Koso.
Richard and I just happened upon some Japanese foodie type videos and one introduced us to Koso. Wow! We both love it! This stuff, mixed with sparkling mineral water is such a great substitute for wine and other alcoholic drinks for me! We’re now on the subscription plan for two bottles a month, but I may up it to three or four if I can stay off the alcohol. It’s THAT good! Yum!

Have you ever thought you were chatting with Keanu Reeves or Kevin Costner? It’s happened to me!
I wrote about some of these scams before, but this article by Rebecca Keegan for The Hollywood Reporter was full of more details than I ever thought of when it comes to these scammers (and why they want to move your chat to Telegram)!
I almost hate to comment on YouTube or Facebook posts of people I don’t know, because invariably some scammer tries to lure me to another platform or chat. Ugh! It’s so annoying!
Gullible
I’m gullible at times or in a mood to see how far they’ll go, so I play along—for a little while. But I tell you, 100% of the time, it’s a scammer.
Don’t waste your time on them, please. And certainly NEVER send bitcoin, money, gift cards, etc. to anyone you don’t know!
