Yes, I am still on my break from social media (including blogging). Charlie Kirk’s death has hit me hard. I simply don’t know what’s left for me to do on this blog because I feel someone is going to be offended no matter what I say, er, write!

I am spending more time in my Bible. But we are also taking a day trip to Salem, Massachusetts tomorrow with the family too! That’s me. Pursuing opposite sides of the spectrum! Plus, our eldest granddaughter (who loves Harry Potter) wants to see if we can find any Harry Potter stuff there. I want to learn more of the history. Somehow it feels appropo to do it, now.

When I run the sleep frequencies, I fall asleep within 5 minutes and sleep deeply (and go back to sleep easily if I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom). It’s been a game changer for me!

Also, I ran it on a ‘back pain’ frequency the other day (after I had done quite a bit of spraying in the backyard – don’t worry I wasn’t using pesticide chemicals, only vinegar, salt, and dish detergent). The back pain was GONE in 5 minutes or less! I actually am still in disbelief how quickly it relieved the pain!

  2. I’m getting to the point where I don’t care if I offend people. Maybe they should be offended. I try to get along with everybody, but some people are just so phony and insincere. They say whatever is politically correct. Then there’s the ones who deliberately vomit vile and disgusting things and think it’s okay. And the people who spread disinformation because they don’t understand the basic realities of life really get to me because they never listen to anyone or do valid research.

    1. You have made some valid points here, Dawn. As I build a YouTube channel, it’s something that I have been thinking hard and deep about in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

      Someone told me years ago that a lot of sincere people are also wrong. And some of my writing has been called misinformation, though I have researched what I publish (but whenever the political climate changes, some information is hidden or unpublished). I always believe there are hidden agendas (and moreover, PROGRAMMING), even with people who claim they have cleared their limiting beliefs! Ugh.

    What has happened to Charlie Kirk, is horrific and its implications far reaching. There are many views in our country, and it should be (needs to be) safe to express them.

  4. Take care, Sheila and have a good break in Salem. There are no words for the shooting and killing of Charlie Kirk or anyone ever by anyone. The whole thing sickens me. Nor should it be politicalized, ever. I know we don’t share the same views but we can respectfully agree to disagree and honor his life and others and stand our ground in what we believe in. Inclusion rather than exclusion and force needs to be honored and valued. We’re in challenging times for sure.
    I get my daily dose of news so I haven’t been opening any of the post here lately.

  8. People getting offended…well they will live Shelia…don’t worry about that at all. I think it’s good to take a break and I’m so glad I don’t post Mon-Thur anymore. I would have taken a break as well.

    1. Offended was the lightest feeling word I could think of while writing this, Max. I have joked in the past about being burned at the stake. Now, it doesn’t seem like a joke.

      Yes, I hear you about not posting M-Thur anymore. I’m too squirrel-ly. Posting when the mood strikes or a subject bubbles/bursts forth.
      I have been relying on a few scripture verses this week to steady myself. So, I hear you and agree.

      FYI, I mentioned that a previous coworker had sent me a nasty reply to a Substack notification… turns out, it probably was from him.

      Thus, it weighs on me. That my words and actions are capable of bringing out the worst from people. I also remembered my maternal grandfather often saying, “Don’t cast your pearls before swine.”
      The way I interpret that now is not to give people information that they aren’t ready (open) to hear. It’s a frequency/wavelength thing.

      1. Well Shelia its not your words, it’s the truth and that is something they cannot handle. They run from it while dehumanizing everyone that doesn’t agree with them. I saw a couple at work try to justify it and I told them really quick I didn’t appreciate it and others came in and said the same thing…those are the only two there that are idiots. They have been quiet ever since…typical wanna be bullies that shut up once they are confronted.

        I’m sorry it’s probably him but he is an idiot Shelia…don’t mean to be crude but hopefully one day he will learn and if not…he is toxic. Can you imagine living with that hate for one man? Just stupidity.

      2. Ah, dehumanizing. Excellent word to express how this feels, Max. Weaponized compassion too. Like no matter what I say, I run the risk of being cancelled or worse.

        And yes, I hear you, Max. I can’t imagine being a hateful person. Someone who is filled with so much vitriol that it spills from them onto anyone or everyone who doesn’t believe as they do. Insanity is another good word.

        I am glad you and your others stood up for your feelings. I’m probably very naive to think there should be a way for people to live and let live.

      3. Yea that is the way I am…live and let live. But something just hit me wrong… and it was good to get support…but it did feel good!
        All we can do is live and do our thing. I’ve seen a lot of borderline ones fleeing because of this. I haven’t been able to think of anything else since it happened.
