It’s November 2nd, 2024; We’ve got a new original boogie-woogie song for you on this fine Saturday. This is a toe-tappin’ country dance song to get your body moving! Haha! It’s sung by a great session singer (so he’s forgotten his name) back when Richard had his songs produced by Steven Cooper of Nashville, TN. It’s still a fun song and fantastic for dancing! Richard said when he played it Live at Whisky Creek in California, the audience demanded their three-piece band play it three times!
This is the three-hundred-fifth new music post for 2024! On this, Day of the Dead, I thought it would be fun to celebrate being alive!
Yes, through all of the ups and downs of things, let’s all remember to dance!
It’s concert time!
My daughter and I are off to our second Recycled Percussion concert in a few hours, at the band’s own venue, The Cake, and we’re so excited!!! So, yes, we’ll be doing some dancing! We’ve got front row seats! I haven’t been front row in more than 20 years for ANY concert! Woo-freakin’-hoo!
Recycled Percussion is all about drumming, show-stopping Live performances, and spreading Kindness! Here’s one of the things they did a few months ago that I participated in:

Keep turning that Kaleidoscope, baby! Turn the beat around… got to feel percussion!

Did you know President Trump saved Nelson Mandela?

I just love RFK Jr.

If we look hard enough, peering through the foggy glass of our Programmed Minds, we may see that each of us have redeeming qualities. Keep turning that kaleidoscope, baby!

I’m rewiring my brain with Super Patches
As for me and my house, we’ll listen to our inner Truth. I practice what I preach.

Everything happens for a reason
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24! And let’s (are you ready for this?) THRIVE in ’25!
Yours in expanding, sharing, spiraling consciousness,
Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

I feel like I want a bear hug right now. Thinking about what I said on your previous day’s post, I don’t think Trump will enact a nationwide abortion band. However, he might do what Reagan did. Reagan blackmailed the states into raising the drinking age to 21 by making it a requirement to receive federal funding for road improvements. I worry that Trump might threaten similar, withhold state funding if states don’t ban abortion. It’s a back door way.
As an American living abroad, I can say that many people outside the US are already laughing at US because a convicted felon might get elected president.

I had no clue of the Mandela inncident. You are right…we don’t hear anything like that…nothing to make him human. They have gone out of their way to dehumanize him.

It certainly seems that way. I think the thing I like best about President Trump is that he isn’t a lawyer or career politician.
Isn’t it funny that the same people who support a comedian turned warlord, say they don’t like Trump because he has been a TV personality?

Yea…it’s because he is not one of them. Democrats used to be the “party of the people” but during Obama’s second term they lost that completely.
There was an out take on a msnbc report where one reporter jumped on another saying “you are making him sound human don’t do that”…. that tells me all I want to know.

Oh, you are sooo right, Max!! I lost all respect for both parties years ago. I have supported Bernie Sanders, Bill Richardson, Marianne Williamson, and RFK Jr.
I did vote for Obama the first time, but only because both of my free-thinking children were voting for him and I couldn’t deal with his competitor. Ugh

Mitt Romney I didn’t like much. In fact Sheila…during that election it was said that The Republicans have maxed out what they can get…unless someone special came along…guess what? He did in 2016 and redrew the states. Some republicans hate him but if it wasn’t for him…we might be in the 16th straight year of democrats counting this next 4…that is why they hate him so much.
We need a 3rd party…the one I thought had a chance was Ross Perot…but that didn’t last.

Ah, yes, I also meant to name Ross Perot and Ron Paul!
I hear you about Mitt Romney. I have a friend who is related by marriage to him. She doesn’t think much of him.
Of course the whole Walz family is supporting Trump too, so there’s that.
I didn’t know that about the redrawing of the states. Ugh

I think it’s so funny that Walz and some of Harris’s family is supporting Trump! Perot was great…”lets get under the hood”
I liked Ron Paul as well…the republicans did him dirty at the time. I think he would have had a much better chance of winning.
