It’s October 8th, 2024; We have an original rock for ALL the blue collar workers! This is one of our favorites that Richard wrote after Obama took office. It’s one of our favorite songs! I think it’s a very timely song NOW! Bubba Hudson did an aWEsOMe job on the vocals and Steven Cooper of Nashville, TN did an amazing job putting this pro demo together.
Here’s the two-hundred-eightieth new music post for 2024, as I consistently give you something to think about and get your body into motion. Richard and I rehearsed this original song many times and were going to play it Live, but never really got the opportunity. Take a listen and share it with others as you see fit and have time. Many thanks!
Keep on rockin’
Some of our friends in Florida are evacuating and some are staying on high ground (between 78 and 90 feet above sea level). We’ll see what happens. But whether this hurricane is the result of weather modification or not, it couldn’t come at a worse time!
IF (and that’s a big IF), I had ever considered voting for the Democrat presidential nominee (after what happened to us when Obama took office, lost job, home, etc. only for Richard to be called back to work at the Space Center after President Trump took office), I wouldn’t vote for them now. This hurricane Helene debacle in North Carolina is one of the worst examples of their leadership (really, it’s a lack of leadership) that I’ve seen thus far. One sitting on a beach and the other out campaigning as the flood waters devastated NC?

We actually prefer this YouTube channel versus Max Velocity though:

Weather modification?

Sadly, we have experienced the same from so-called, “Love and Light” friends, and I am an Independent! I’ve only attempted to show ALL sides in this argument and all the Left seems to want to do is HATE. I’ll be glad when this election is over. I agree with the lyrics of our bluecollar song that our founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves about now.

Everything happens for a reason
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24!

The problem is that the elections never end! We’ve come to the point where politics dominates the country 24/7 365 days a year. As soon as one ends, they start gearing up for the next one. I’m sick of it.

Me too, Dawn. And I am sooo disillusioned.

Another great song and more reason to vote for a third party. From what I remember, President Bush was just as incompetent handling Hurricane Katrina.

You have an excellent memory, Michael. Right! Bush was incompetent or bought too! This is why I agree with you about voting for a strong third party candidate. I know several people who want to vote for Jill Stein. I think it takes someone who can’t or won’t be bought, and I know that’s why many want President Trump again.
Katrina was a fiasco. I listened to their governor on the radio when he begged for buses. And when they announced that the toilets quit flushing in the superdome. I knew they were doomed.

FYI Michael, about Diebold:
After the 2004 reelection of President George W. Bush, some 30 House members and Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) joined an effort to reject the certification of Ohio. They claimed the Diebold voting machines had been tampered with by its pro-Republican manufacturer. The media did not accuse them of “election denying” and of trying to “overturn an election.”
Diebold voting machines were replaced in Georgia, Florida, and other states when it was proven they could be hacked. And now we have Dominion voting machines. Perhaps they will also be found able to be hacked. Time will tell.

I didn’t know about that, thanks for the enlightenment. Another useless piece of history: A Republican supporter said that Obama wouldn’t have been re-elected had it not been for the Storm Sandy. Apparently, he handled it really well.

Well, I didn’t vote for Obama the second time. Fool me once…
He cost us our house and Richard’s job at the Kennedy Space Center when he ended the manned space program. Not to mention the bank failures debacle.
Thankfully, Richard got his job back after Trump took office, but it cost him 6.5 years that he could have worked. But it’s all over now. And here I sit, in the middle, being very disillusioned with government, politics, etc.

It sucks that Richard lost his job on account of Obama stopping manned space flights but I’m glad he got his job back but those six years must have been tough for you. I sometimes say that I’m glad I live in Britain but the political scene is just as bad here with Keir Starmer reneging on the promises he made.

Yes, it was tough on me, those 6 and a half years, Michael. That’s when we bought the RV so we could easily move around the state of Florida for me to work contract IT jobs. I had to be able to make more money than I had made when I worked at the space center.
