It’s September 27th, 2024; We have an original country song for the honky tonk in us ALL. Richard doesn’t recall who sang this tune for us, but said he thought he left Nashville, TN to return to Texas some years ago. Oh, he just had a memory! He thinks the singer was Glenn Mayo. He had a contract and had reached some level of success. But we owe all the thanks to Steven Cooper of Nashville, TN for the valid production on this song.

Here’s the two-hundred-seventy-first new music post for 2024, as I obsessively lay some new music on you, that you’ve never heard! Just bringing in some fun into each day, and perhaps build some new neural pathways too!

Healing

If one spends too much time in the honky tonks, one probably has some healing to do. Don’t cha think? I know I’m so glad I found my way out! It took lots of years, tears, and getting past lots of fears! Thank you, Omniscience God. Thank you for helping me grow my soul. Thank you for it ALL!

Everything happens for a reason

Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.

Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24!

Yours in expanding, heavenly, spiraling consciousness,

Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

  1. Ooh, I love the song. Has a retro 80’s feel to it. A little bit of Doug Stone on this track. I also heard a little bit of Judy Collins and Suzy Bogguss – Someday Soon on this track. I loved Suzy and Doug Stone’s music.

      1. Doug Stone was pretty big in the mid 80’s but because of people like Clint Black, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson to name a few, Doug never really got the Recognition he deserved. Same with Suzy Bogguss, she was such a great singer with an amazing voice, but she was out shined as well by names such as Tanya Tucker, Reba, Lorrie Morgan (Who also was a bit under-rated) and the Judds. (One might say, I know a bit too much about Country Music – Hahaha)
