It’s August 30th, 2024; We have a rockin’ original song for ALL today! This is one of my favorite songs, For my sanity. Great rock vocals from Bubba Hudson and fantastic mix from Steven Cooper, Nashville, TN. Let’s ROCK!
Here’s the two-hundred-forty-third new music post for 2024, as I consistently pump out new music for the rockers and the intellectually curious! I know a couple of rockers, 80sMetalman and Gray Summers, fellow bloggers (and Gray is an accomplished musician and songwriter), who may LOVE this tune–because both of these guys know rock when they hear/play it! Getting to know both of them have inspired us.
I’m often ‘too serious’
My husband, Richard Murrey, has had to lighten me up a LOT over the past 20+ years, because of my ‘too serious’ nature. (I guess I am an analyst at heart, though I desire to be more loving and adventurous.)

Growing all the time
I’m continuing to grow and harvest some herbs daily. I am growing peppermint (bought a few months ago as a whole plant), basil, oregano, and parsley. The basil and parsley have been growing like mad, and are quite tall, but as you can see in the photo, the oregano needs help. I’ll dig up the best of these herbs and repot them for indoors before the first frost (though my parsley usually always takes off and grows even better in the winter–though that’s based on Florida weather, not New England, so I won’t push it!

I am still reading Susan Lindauer‘s book, Extreme Prejudice but promise I’ll take a break and begin my new workout regimen: stair climbing! Ha!
I really am laying off the political memes, even though I can laugh at some. I know y’all don’t need to see those from me. And thank you for sticking with me, even when I’ve shared some of those!
Truth can be found on all sides
The reason I teach ways of expanding our consciousness during Integrating the Spirals sessions are to point out that Truth can be found on all sides. And that we can entertain another’s view (at least for a little while), since we know that they’re viewing life from a different perspective (a different location on the mirror ball). We can choose to be empowered or wounded when someone expresses an opinion diametrically opposed to our own. Yet, there is value in Everything (even if we don’t like it on any given day), using the spiral technique we can give ourself the space to find the ‘better feeling thought.’

Harmonizing with Super Patches and our own fingertips together
Super Patches use a specific design per types of issues (each patch contains no medicine or synthetics), to stimulate your brain via fingerprint-like designs that allow our brains to turn things on and off in our body. I’m using these brain-stimulating patches every day. And I’m thrilled to introduce you to Super Patches! The company offers a 30-day money-back guarantee because we’re all different. And we know trying something new can be scary. Be skeptical but try them for yourself. Available in the UK and going global soon!

Everything happens for a reason
Yes, Everything Happens for a Reason and Everything Resolves to Gratitude. Knowing that each of us (as fractals) uplifts my mind and allows me to view life as a lively kaleidoscope grand design that moves about in an ever-expanding, revolving, melodious, consciousness. Even if we have to disconnect from some people, for a time.
Enjoy (IN Joy) everything and love! Be Everything All the Time. Let’s soar in ’24!
Yours in expanding, growing, spiraling consciousness,
Sheila “Spiral Sister” Murrey

I call on the Holy Spirit to bless you. Every one of Richard’s songs I’ve heard is worthy. And you deserve more notice for the work you’ve done! Thank you for sharing yourself. Someone needs to tend to analytical details! 🙂 My two crops are marigolds and basil – basil is going crazy and the “luxury” is now free. I hope it grows indoors. much love, Debra

Eternal thanks for this beautiful blessing you bestow on us today, Debra! Our hearts are full!
I love that you grow marigolds and basil. How lovely! And I think the marigolds can be used as a salve steeped in coconut or olive oil if memory serves.

God is working behind the scenes. In the end, the greater challenge, the better the miracle story will be. Thanks for the tip on marigolds. I’ll check it out again. I have all the makings for some new salves. Debra

Yes. Loved this one. I listened to a fair bit of American rock in the 1980s. So can understand why your fellow bloggers comment on this similarity too. I loved Nick Gilder especially. Played two of his albums consistently over a few years back then. Now I need to go find them! His song Time after Time, when thinking of life’s lived templates, seems to be present in my mind often over the decades.
Herbs? Wales is not a fantastically hot climate and very damp and cold at times. But our herb bed is prolific and simply left out in the open all year. Herbs get wood stem leggy. We chop them back to base level, and within a couple of weeks they spring back with tender leaves to harvest. Nice post Sheila.

Thank you so much, Gray! Good to know about Nick Gilder! And good to know my herbs might make it through the winter.

Nick Gilder is a treasure. Such a nice guy. Still going I believe. I found the two albums after I replied to you. Will play them tomorrow. Well today! It’s 02.30 in the morning here. They are both brilliant. The second album is a rock/pop tuneful masterpiece.

I had to look him up as his name was only vaguely familiar. I knew/remember that Hot Child in the City song, Gray, but that’s all that stood out to me when I read through a list of his songs.
You never fail to amaze me with singers and/or songwriters you like.

The song has a retro 80’s feel to it. Love the 80’s. This is another song I can see in a 80’s style movie soundtrack or even being played on a scene of a movie where someone is in their car driving either to town or away from home. Has a crusing 80’s style. 👍🏻🤗♥️.
Also, love the little herbal garden.

I guess this is why Nashville has not picked up any of our songs because they are dated. But we are thrilled you like it! And with the success of some 80s based shows, like Stranger Things, maybe we DO stand a chance getting songs in a TV show or such. Thank you, Willie!

I know you will. The retro music is never forgotten and it’s being played on so many shows and movies even today. Don’t lose Hope. The right person will hear what I hear and see the vision that is going to lead you to the right place, and I will be the first to say, “I told you.” Hope, Pray and Believe.
