When was the last time you felt GREAT?

I woke up one morning with this question in my mind, “When was the last time I felt GREAT?”

Have you ever asked yourself that question???

Almost immediately after asking myself this question, I answered myself “When I was eating raw food”!

Thus, I looked up Dan McDonald, The Life Regenerator on my email (as I have followed him for YEARS, even though I’d quit eating 100% raw in 2008).

I bought an hour personal consult with Dan and his team was so responsive! Within a couple of days, I was on the phone with him and he was just as real (honest-to-God authentic and humble human being), as I’d always thought he might be (from feeling like I knew him from his MANY enlightening YouTube videos)!

I recorded the call on my laptop, so I could listen over and over to keep myself motivated and encouraged. (And yes, I have needed to listen to our conversation again after a couple of weeks.)

I’d received an email from Dan (before our call – from his mass email list) about eating nothing but citrus fruits! I’d never thought of that before, nor had I ever eating strictly one type of foods. Even when I was a raw vegan for one year, I’d eaten quite a variety of raw fruits and vegetables.

So, a couple of days before our phone consult, I began eating several varieties of citrus fruit, and drinking lemon and lime infused water. And by the time we talked, I was really ready to HEAR and embody Dan’s advice.

I decided to commit to eating this way for the month of March 2022 or longer. I committed to being really AWARE of how I feel before, during, and after eating. I began taking it “one day at a time.” And so far, so good!

To date, I have released 10 pounds in 2 weeks and feel GREAT!

Now, the weight loss has subsided a bit and I have incorporated celery and avocados into my daily diet, for dinner. I had felt I just needed a bit more fiber and fat to help move stuff through my body. And a couple times I did have romaine lettuce, basmati rice and saag spinach paneer for dinner too.

For me, right now, this is of value. And I’ll continue to adjust daily as needed. But this way of eating has brought a lot of LIGHT into my body, as Dan said it would. And I feel it!

Update: I see the Ego in the salad (like Dan said too). And come on! Back to the citrus. Maybe fruitarian IS in my future. Hmmm

What do YOU do when you get aggravated?

I can tell you what I used to do when I got aggravated. And how I have lightened up. But I am really interested to hear what YOU do when someone annoys you or something aggravates you.

When something or someone disturbs you, do you:

  • Rant (like I still do sometimes)?
  • Yell?
  • Grumble?
  • Confide in someone you trust—even if you know it may raise their blood pressure?
  • Throw things?
  • Punch a pillow?
  • Throw up your hands (or a particular finger)? I have learned NOT to do that while driving.

If I am working, I’ll get up and walk around the house. (Yes, I did that when we lived in our RV too.) Or I would go outside and walk or stand barefoot in the sand.

Do you shift you body in some way?

How do you release the excess Energy that becoming aggravated stirs up?

I used to cry, but I conquered that several years ago.

Oneness. It’s not just loving what we like.

On my quest to embrace Oneness (including what I don’t like, i.e. being scammed, hearing loud people or traffic noise, people who act like jerks and worse), I am conscious that when I feel “aggravation” that’s my initial sense that I may be about to react and judge someone or situation.

I do my best to pause, take a deep breath, acknowledge my feelings, and edit my response—but it’s all a work in progress. Sometimes the situation triggers old wounds and traumas and I just have to exit—sometimes abruptly.

And while I dislike labels, I am releasing and forgiving myself for the THOUGHT when I am tempted to label someone or something. I still observe the action. But allowing anything external to me to “steal my joy” may be something I will have to work on the rest of my life.

Are we all a “work in progress”?

I am always attempting to do better. I see myself transforming—and pat myself on the back when I respond in the way my best and highest self would like. (A self love and approval kind of thing.)

Omniscience in and through ALL

Holiness means to let go of our ego and fleshly desires. Be IN the world not OF the world. ❤️🦋🌀

Love God first with all of one’s mind, body, and soul. Seek first the kingdom of God and one’s needs will be taken care of. Our thoughts, making our own mind serviceable (self control) should come before any other “cares of this world.” Thus, one’s priorities must be in order. ❤️🦋🌀

My daily prayer:

  • I give thanks for my family members by name
  • I give thanks for my friends
  • I pray for anyone I have an issue with
  • I pray for anyone I ever had an issue with
  • I ask with humility for my needs to be met
  • I thank Omniscience for ALL because every experience I have had, has taught me something

Pray for your family, ALL of them. Pray especially for the ones you don’t like or harbor a grudge against.

Pray for your friends. Wish heaps of blessings upon them. You chose them!

Pray for your enemies.

For if you can love your enemies, everything else becomes easy!

If you have any problem with that, think of Jesus’ words on the cross, “Father forgive them, they know not what they do.” ❤️🦋🌀✝️

Knee-jerk reactions

You may recall a time (previous post is here), when a relative of mine read one of MY Facebook posts and decided to block me, and never speak to me again, because of something that “hurt her feelings.”

Thing is, our whole family seems to have a big issue with “taking everything PERSONALLY,” or “people pleasing.” Yep!

I meant no ill will towards her or anyone when I posted my message. And in particular she would have been the LAST person I would ever want to “hurt,” offend, because I had always placed her on the proverbial pedestal. I wanted to BE her when I was little. Hmm.

Better to feel good than be right

I have experienced the knee-jerk reactions (less and less now and of shorter duration), when someone in my immediate environment triggers me!

In one case, it’s been 2 years, and she didn’t even call or reach out to me when my dad died—supposedly her favorite brother). My aunt preaches “Compassion” too, so imagine my dismay. What to do?

From a distance, I have been choosing to “do” this for her. I send HER compassion (via distance), and wish her well. ❤️🦋🌀

A few days ago my daughter posted her Story on Facebook and I remembered this draft I had since August. Today, I finished this blog article after experiencing a knee-jerk reaction during work, and making a conscious choice to forgive and employ better feeling words.

I now, always ask myself (when I feel emotionally triggered), “when have I ever reacted this way?” It gives me space to breathe and react LESS, because I can quickly put myself in the other person’s shoes.

We practice methods during the Integrated Spiral™ program also, to build our resilience (a sort of mental “muscle memory”), so whenever we are emotionally triggered, we react less, and control or manage our emotions “in the moment.” Then, we can use our logical, analytical mind, instead of allowing our amygdala (flight or fight mind) to take over.

Incredibly, I wrote a draft of this post last August, (when I was on vacation and had some contemplative time).

Fast forward

I finished it today, because I had a knee-jerk reaction to something at work.

Everything worked out okay, with myself and my colleague learning more about each other. Plus, we figured out our need to offer our client mutual agreed upon information (we had to get “on the same page” first, before communicating with our customer). What did we do?

We both forgave ourselves and each other, by appreciating each other and how our intentions align. We found our integrity. It actually happened fairly easily after we took turns venting for a moment.

We just had to imagine our shared purpose. Our goal. And explain to each other our particular intentions. While treating each other with respect. And holding space for each other.

I wish everyone’s interactions could work out so smoothly when knee-jerk responses occur. I know it’s possible. Today was my proof.

I think, especially NOW, we could all use this list to focus on and renew our cells!

  • A human’s BLOOD PLATELETS are replaced every 10 days.
  • A human’s COLON is completely NEW every 2-3 days.
  • A human’s HEART MUSCLE cells are renewed 24/7.
  • A human’s JOINT & CARTILAGE cells are constantly renewing.

Patting myself on the back

My biggest takeaway from 2021, was to give myself a physical pat on the back for accomplishing sooo much—though I had multiple obstacles and challenges.

Think patting yourself on the back for your accomplishments is bad? That could be a limiting belief.

If you don’t pat yourself on the back, it’s doubtful that anyone else will.

Patting yourself on the back is NOT arrogant or egotistical! You work hard. You are studious. Resilient. And you’re flexible. Adaptable. Look yourself in the eyes (in a mirror) and SMILE!

My husband has this saying, “He who tooteth not his own horn, the same shall not be tooted”! Haha! What do you think of that?

Plan for success

I keep a variety of notes around me, from little sticky notes, to journals, to poster drawings of my spiral method, to notes and research on my laptop and in my iPhone.

To create my success, I set my sights on accomplishing the my top 5 goals by believing in myself, my brain and body, and in my voice. My daily practices include:

  • Singing (to feel good)
  • Moving (to burn cortisol), Qigong / Yoga, Dancing
  • Acupressure
  • Doing Energy work: EFT Tapping, Eden Method, etc.
  • Writing

Dancing adds JOY into each day and helps me burn calories.

Meeting with Clubhouse groups (keeps my mindset UP).

Staying in touch with family and friends keeps me accountable (and strengthens my integrity.

Tracking my steps, weighing in, and measuring my body weekly, helps me stay focused on my health.

Posting something everyday on social media builds my following. I love sharing my perspective on reality in hopes that it uplifts others (and their businesses), though I acknowledge “shadow” too, because I believe in yin and yang, and balance. ☯️

  3. Close open loops within the week and celebrate to reinforce that habit
  4. Market our music while promoting others (as I have been doing on N1M)
  5. Continue writing (metaphysical novel in progress), created a course on Communing with TREES, blogging, creating t-shirt designs and more, and generating ideas for a Vlog or podcast

Highly Sensitive Person (HSP)

Do you seem to feel emotion more than other people you know?

Is it in your nature to cry easily?

Is it in your nature to feel overwhelmed often?

Do you find yourself pulled into other people’s drama?

Do you harbor hidden resentment that you seem to have to struggle in life more than those around you?

Do you get irritated often?

Do you care about others more than you care about yourself? (Such as a care giver, codependent, or enabler.)

Do you care more about others than they seem to care about themselves? (Such as loving someone who seems hell bent on self destruction.)

You may be a highly sensitive person, or an empath.

Throughout my life, I have been one to “take things personally.” I’ve learned I do that because I am a highly sensitive person (HSP) and an old soul!

Empaths tend to feel others pain, frustration, or negativity. Empaths often sense things deeply.

Do you find it difficult to set boundaries? Or stay strong in the midst of your so carefully constructed boundaries being trampled?

Why is it that when a Giver decides it is time to TAKE (or simply be bold and stand up for themselves), that a Taker gets mad?

Faeries

One weekend in 2017, a friend and I attended a Fairy Faire at Spirit University in Sarasota, Florida. I’m drawn to the unusual, yet I had never gone to an event quite like this before.

Spirit University held the event both inside their building and outside, with a roped off area. Inside, there were about 12 psychics offering readings. And outside, there were two food trucks, and about 10 vendors selling various things. It was a spritely time. 🧚‍♀️

There were only 3 musicians playing music throughout the day outside.

Their emcee introduced a variety of speakers. Each speaker talked for 15-20 minutes on spiritual topics. A friend, John Springer, spoke about the faerie realm and passed around photo albums of the many pictures he had taken of the places where faeries might live, in the woodlands and forests. I was enthralled!

It was $3 to get in the door and they put a paper wrist band on us so we could go in/out of the building. Readings were done upstairs, just the way they used to do it at another venue I’d attended in the past.

My mother had recently passed and I had hoped to hear something reassuring from her. But I didn’t set any particular expectations.

What happened next, quickened my heartbeat and stunned me to my core.

Just as I sat down with my reader to begin the reading, I could hear a distinct change in the music that was wafting in from outside. It was Celtic music! This went on during the whole time of my reading!

By the time we’d finished and I made my way back downstairs and outside, the Celtic music had stopped. It was sooo surreal.

I don’t remember a lot of the words from the reading (though I did record it). I did Connect with the reader and felt she was “onto something.” But I will never forget the Feeling of Presence. Perhaps it was my mom directing the Irish music, or my ancestors. I don’t know, nor does it matter. What matters most, is that I felt totally supported.

Everything I learned from attending this Fairy Faire, influenced what would come next in my life, such as my decision to go on a Sacred Celtic Journey. As well, the knowingness I gleaned continues to inform the work that I do within the transformative program of: Integrated Spiral™

John Springer crossed over to the Grand Beyond recently, and I pulled out my notes to write this article, in both memory of him, and to honor the faeries.

The feeling of opening I felt while listening to John speak so lovingly and graciously about the faerie realm, really made an impression on me. John taught me to place crystals, shiny buttons, or other small pretty things, outside for the faeries. Sprites love shiny things.

I learned if you take something from an area, such as a small rock or stone, you leave something for the fairies.

While I have always loved animals, it has taken me much longer to appreciate insects, birds, trees, and forests. And that’s okay, because I appreciate them, Now.

If you look closely, you may see a sprite (faerie) or two, atop the yellow flowers I’m standing near at Glastonbury, England. (2019)

When I planted a fig tree on the property in Hollister, Florida (where we lived Off Grid for 17 months), I placed many crystals and a few broken pieces of jewelry, in a circle around the tree, as gifts to the sprites. And a wink to my teachers.

Note to self: While we were on our Sacred Celtic Journey, friends, John and Carol told me about the John Van Aucken book on fairies gnomes and elementals. I have yet to read it, but it’s on my list! ❤️🦋🌀〰️

Sometimes, when I wake in the wee hours of the morning, I remember that Celtic music… 🎼 🎶 🎵 I remember and listen. I imagine I’m back in Ireland, England, and Scotland. I feel for my roots. I imagine my family. The generations before. I smile. I cry. I give thanks for magic and mystery. I feel all is well. Even when appearances may want to suggest otherwise. I know much is not what it seems.

The faeries have taught me that.

Times I nearly died

Ran over

Was run over by dad’s car when I was a toddler!

Yes, I was playing in the driveway and the car rolled over me, while mom watched in horror from the porch. She said I ducked as the “pumpkin” of the car went over my head. Mom said dad turned white as a sheet! I didn’t get a scratch.

Almost fell out of a moving car

Another car incident happened when mom set the clothes basket between her and I. I think she was tired or annoyed with me over something.

I opened the car door and nearly fell out! but mom was quickly able to reach over and grab my winter coat, which saved me! When she retold that story, she said she’d been upset with me and put the basket in between us! She never did that again.

Forced field landing

In the late 1980s, I had began working for a very prestigious private aeronautical university. One of our instructor pilots, offered to let me ride along while she took a student pilot on a “prog check,” which is a progress check on their flying. Flight students go through a lot of these kinds of “checks” during their years of training.

Anyway, on this particular prog check, we all wore headsets (and this is key), and the student puts the plane through a series of maneuvers. At one point during our flight, I heard my friend ask the student to sight a field large enough to land because we had lost an engine.

The student found a field and the instructor, my friend, said it was appropriate. I was beginning to sweat.

When my friend announced that we had lost our second engine, and that the student was to start his steps to initiate a forced field landing, I literally said my prayers, and thanks for all my family, children, etc.

Something in that moment told me to lift one side of my headset though.

Thankfully, what I heard shocked and surprised me! The plane’s engines were running!!

And that’s the story I always tell to new hires or those that I train on a job, to make sure WE personally check our projects progress, before we panic and believe some external indication that there’s a problem. Usually, there’s no real problem, it’s only one perception.

I’m sure glad we actually didn’t have to land that plane in a field though!

Spinning out

When my daughter was 16 or so, I had let her drive us back from Orlando on I-4 in Florida. It was raining and the tires on my car were nearing time to be replaced. She was going about 70mph and had the cruise control on.

Seemingly, for no reason, the car started to spin out of control! We literally turned 360 degrees, in the middle of the highway!

We ended up inches from a tree on the side of the road. My daughter was overcome with emotion when she looked over and saw I had not had my seatbelt on. And I felt like it was a miracle we had not hit the tree. We were able to get back on the road and I drove us home. But we learned never to drive using the cruise control when it’s raining!

Flu in 2005

The summer of 2005, I was sooo sick that my husband insisted on taking me to the Emergency Room (ER) of our local hospital. It was there that the two nurses who attended to me told me, “You can’t get the flu in the summer.” But, I tell you, I had the worst flu I had ever had in my life!

I felt so bad, I thought I would die! I coughed so hard and so much, I peed blood, and was given an antibiotic for a urinary tract infection (UTI), though I had no other symptoms of that (and I have had plenty in my life to know what they feel like.

Flu in 2019

Just after arriving home from Ireland, December 19, 2019, I experienced some weird kind of flu.

My husband teased me a bit, that I had picked up some sickness from that neolithic tomb I had been in! Ugh. (But he really did take good nursing care of me while I was ill.)

I carried a fever for a whole weekend and couldn’t taste my food. But because I do Qigong and Breathwork, I never felt I had to gasp for air.

My back hurt from whatever coughing I had done though, and that was different for me. That was the part I thought was strange about the whole situation.

A friend, who’s now an herbalist, brought me over her special blend of tea. I was to steep it in a boiling pot of water, drape a towel over my head and stand over the pot, head hanging over, to inhale the vapor. I’m sure grateful for caring friends! (If you haven’t yet, now is a good time to build strong relationships!)

I also took Mullein (which is excellent to ease coughs, and people don’t talk about it enough!), vitamin C, and zinc. And drank my water from a copper mug. I rinsed my nostrils and sinuses out daily with a bit of buffered salt and neti pot. And I doubled up on the redox molecules we take.

Something worked, because within about 10 days began feeling better. I can’t tell you what I had or my process, as the doc (yes, I eventually got checked at a walk-in clinic), never tested me, and the public didn’t know about Coronavirus at that time.

Suffice to say, our cabinets are stocked, and have been all through 2020-2021, but gratefully acknowledging we have been fine.

I often wonder about that old saying, “When your time is up, it’s up”!

Go with your innate Flow and everything God has in store for you will come to you. Actually God is LIMITLESS but we think we are limited so lots of blessings pass right on by us. We must pray that we can be open to receive MORE.

In every breath, thought, and action we honor our LIMITLESS, Ever-Living, Filling-ALL-Space, Creator, Source, Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent, God!!!
